Taking care of an adult

I have a close friend who had took care of an old woman in their house. Because of the health problems, the old woman has no longer able to take care of herself. From changing her adult diapers, giving her food, giving her a bath, etc--just about as the same when taking care of the baby-- is what my friend and her husband did to the old woman. My friend mentioned me before that they are about to send the old woman in the nursing home but for some reasons they endeed up keeping her. To be honest, my friend is very patient when it comes to taking care of somebody. She's not even whining about something even she has no relation to the old woman. I really salute her for doing that.
