Blocks the light

Husband is been complaining about the curtains in the bedroom where it don't actually block the sunlight from the outside. We are the people who sleep usually at day and a perfect blinds or curtains that can block the light is a must. At first i prefer the thick curtains to hang in our windows because i thought they are better as we were using a lot of blinds from our previous houses. But later, i realized putting a blinds underneath the curtains is probably a good idea. It adds beauty plus it totally blocks the light out. Lets see how it work.
